TR Capital is opening its door to entry-level analysts who wish to undertake one of the most intense Private Equity investment training programs which focus on China, India and SEA.

TR Academy 2025 aims to train young professionals to become investors by going through complete financial and operational evaluation of companies.

The program takes place at TR Hong Kong office, with an option to relocate to the Shanghai office. TR Capital will train candidates intensively to evaluate investments over a period of 24 months.

Key Responsibilities

You will be participating actively in the development and the growth of the company. You will be involved in: (i) investment opportunities analysis across Asia and more specifically in China, (ii) portfolio monitoring, (iii) other ad hoc tasks. You are expected to work autonomously and to have significant responsibilities.

Requirements

• Candidate has to be strong in the following areas: Financial Accounting, Financial Modeling and general analytical skills

• Candidate has to be able to summarize analysis and thoughts in a form which is succinct and easy to understand. Clear and concise communication is required. Willingness to express view is also important

• Education: University graduate or higher qualifications with solid knowledge in accounting and financial modeling with up to 2 years full-time work experience

• Skills: Excellent level of analyzing, synthesizing and writing; being autonomous, adaptive, and rigorous; familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word as well as financial databases

• Previous working/internship experience in the financial sector is required, ideally in Private Equity/Investment Banking/Management Consulting 

Duration

The duration of the program is 24 months starting from July 2025.

Your Role as a TR Academy Analyst

As part of our investment team, you will:

• Analyze investment opportunities through financial modeling, due diligence, and industry research; 
• Engage with management teams, investors, and stakeholders to evaluate deals; 
• Monitor and support portfolio companies, optimizing business and capital structures;
• Work directly with senior investors, contributing to live transactions and strategic decisions. 

Who Should Apply?

We seek motivated, analytical professionals with:

• 1-3 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting (no fresh graduates); 
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; 
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities;
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases;
• A university degree or higher qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
